Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Ceni. By creating an account you agree to them.
Ceni is provided by The Anderson Halford Group Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 15921653 (“we”, “us”). “You” means the organisation that holds the account.
The service
Ceni is a customer relationship management platform provided over the internet. We provide it on a subscription basis, and we may add, change or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you in advance.
Your account
You are responsible for everything done through your account, for keeping access to it secure, and for the accuracy of what you put into it. You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
You must be at least 18 and have authority to enter these terms on behalf of your organisation.
Your data
You own your data. We claim no ownership of anything you put into Ceni. We process it to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy, and for no other purpose.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the personal data you store in Ceni, for telling the people it concerns, and for responding to their requests. We will help where we can.
You can export your data at any time. If you close your account we will delete it, subject to the backup retention described in our privacy policy.
What you must not do
- Use Ceni to send unsolicited marketing to people who have not agreed to hear from you, or in breach of PECR or equivalent rules
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to hold
- Attempt to access another organisation's data
- Probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written agreement
- Resell or white-label Ceni without our written agreement
- Use the service in a way that degrades it for others We may suspend an account that breaches these, and will tell you why.
Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable.
If a payment fails we will retry and notify you. If it remains unpaid, access may be suspended and then terminated. Your data is retained through suspension and deleted after termination as described above.
You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund part-months.
Availability
We aim to keep Ceni available and take daily backups, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be notified where practical.
We are not responsible for failures of third-party services Ceni connects to, including but not limited to Microsoft, Zoom, Stripe, Twilio, Xero and QuickBooks.
AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence to generate content. Output may be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing anything generated before you rely on it, send it, or publish it. We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete or fit for any purpose.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or indirect or consequential loss.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate for material breach, for non-payment, or on 30 days' notice. On termination your right to use Ceni ends and your data is deleted as described above.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Ceni after that means you accept them.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
